outdoor session
Outdoor sessions are perfect for family, couples, maternity, kids and individual portraits.
I will work with you each step of the way; from booking the session, what to wear, where to photograph, all the way through ordering at your Reveal session and delivery of your heirloom quality photobooks and wall art.
SCHEDULING
Most outdoor sessions last approximately 60-90 minutes and are either scheduled 90 minutes before sunset, or about 30 minutes after sunrise. Do you have little ones that go to bed early? No problem. Regardless of your schedule and your families needs we will make it work.
consultation
At the consultation, you can look at various samples including canvas gallery wraps, mounted prints, metal prints, albums, and print samples. You won't need to make any decisions on which products you want at the consultation, but it helps to have an idea of what you have in mind.
Knowing which rooms you want to hang wall portraits in will help me know how to photograph for your specific wants and needs. For example, if you know you want a large piece over the couch or fireplace in a formal living room, you may want a traditional posed shot of everyone looking at the camera. Or, if you're looking to add wall art to a casual family room, candid/emotive shots may be the way to go. Do you have an open floor plan without a lot of wall space? Albums are a fantastic choice to consider!
SESSION EXPERIENCE
Never been in front of the camera before? Not a problem! I will guide you on posing and wardrobe.
SELECTING YOUR PORTRAITS
Throughout your photoshoot you will have the opportunity to preview your images. One week after your session has taken place, we will schedule an in-person reveal for you to view your proofing gallery and select your favorite portraits for retouching.
RETOUCHING
Your portrait session is only the beginning of creating your custom artwork. Each image is carefully and tastefully edited into a unique work of art. Artistic photo retouching is included in your session. I specialize in the most comprehensive and detailed editing. While I focus on creating a natural look I will edit your photos to your liking. I want you to treasure your final portraits.
DISPLAYING YOUR ART
